MINIMUM WAGE PASSES

On December 6, by a vote of 51-8 the N.Y. State Senate joined the N.Y. State Assembly in overturning Governor Pataki's veto of the overtime bill.

This time we can really celebrate!

We are all aware that this bill does not give the workers a "living wage" but it is certainly a step in the right direction and will make their lives more palatable.
